Why choose the Front Press?

The biggest problem with seed beds can be a lack of consolidation. It exaggerates trace element problems and can depress yields dramatically. In todays agriculture the demand must be to achieve more out for less in. Reducing costs effectively means less man hours per acre. The addition of a suitable front press can increase output whilst improving seedbed consolidation and yield.

Erth Engineering Front Press

Benefits

Super Press

Press with tines and levellers more suitable where there is a hard plough seam. Splits the seam and produces more cultivation and tilth ahead of the levellers.

Compact Press

Press with levellers which produces levelling without as much cultivation as the tine and leveller combination.

Front Press Options

Both Super Press and Compact Press available with cast rings (27” cast ring with 6” ring spacing and 60mm axle), tyres or wedge ring barrel.

Cast Ring

The Cast Ring is more suitable in dryer, harder conditions giving better clod breakdown.

Tyre Roller

The Tyre Roller is more suitable for working in damper conditions or where seed beds are fluffy.

The Barrel Roller

The Barrel Roller is a halfway house between a cast ring and the tyre roller giving good breakdown in dry, hard conditions but with good facility to work in damp conditions as well.
