Erth Engineering
Erth Engineering Ltd designs and manufactures two main product lines – the Agriseeder Direct Seed Drill and the Panbuster Subsoiler. We also manufacture a number of complimentary products.
Based in Co Down in Northern Ireland, we design and manufacture our own products so we are fully in control of production from initial design to distribution.
Erth Engineering machinery has both grass and arable applications and offers practical and affordable options for both end users/farmers and contractors. Our products have the flexibility to be used for the broadest range of applications and can deliver results in the widest range of conditions of any similar machines on the market.
Products are sold directly (Ireland only) and through a network on local and national distributors in the UK, Europe and many other countries around the world. View our distributors page for a list of our current distributers around the world.
We pride ourselves on being specialists at what we do and we learn new things from every marketplace we serve. This helps us to respond quickly to customer demands and puts us at the forefront of development in the sector.
But …..there is always more to do and more to learn. Our product development will never stand still and we are always driving forward.
History
Looking back
Company Director, David McCoubrey has been the driving force behind Erth Engineering. From a farming background and with farming very much as his first love, David started the business in 1997. Having worked for other machinery manufacturers in the UK and Ireland, he struck out on his own with only ideas and a drive to do better.
Operating for many years as a sole trader David has grown the business significantly over the years and until it became a limited company in 2017.
The first ten years were a period of hard work for Erth Engineering and slow progress. Its products worked in the field and customers were very happy with the results, but the business was producing arable machinery in a grass marketplace. As such this was tough.
The turning point came when Erth Engineering began to produce its Grass Panbuster range, having seen the need for a better reset system, more control etc. Added to this was the Agriseeder in 2014, which has evolved and developed into a multifunctional drill capable of sowing practically any crop in a wide range of conditions.
Erth Engineering has grown significantly over 30 years and Erth products are now established as market leading in their sector, but the same drive and enthusiasm to do better is at the heart of what we do. We want to produce results where it counts…in the field for our customers.
The business has invested for the future, with additional production space and modern machinery processes to improve efficiency. We look forward positively with new developments and new products.
